	News Screens & Pages finished the first version of a solution for automated lay-out of DITA XML files in Adobe InDesign. Here we are using JavaScript scripting. It supports complex tables and 1 or 2 column layouts; the lay-out can be modified to a high extent as we use InDesign templates as a base for styling text and objects. This is the ideal approach for converting manual workflows to DITA XML based publishing without sacrificing design quality and complexity.
	On 2 and 3 september 2025 Roelof Janssen of Screens & Pages sucessfully finished the ISO 42001 lead auditor training. This recent ISO standard (2023) was developed in order to certify organisations on the responsible use of AI. By complying to this standard AI tool suppliers as well as their users can demonstrate that they are seriously employing AI in a responsible, ethical and controlled way. The importance of this standard will grow in the upcoming years considering the turbulent developments around AI and its impact on society.
	Roelof Janssen of Screens & Pages has been trained as a lead auditor for ISO 27001 en ISO 9001 by Dekra Certification B.V. After that he has carried out more than 100 audits both in The Netherlands and world-wide.
